The Baby

Why do we talk and preach the cross eleven months out of the year but we limit the baby to one month out of the year? Why do we limit: the manger, the donkey, the baby, Mary, Joseph, the birth of John the Baptist, Elizabeth, Zechariah, the magi, Bethlehem, the flight to Egypt, the prophesy, the shepherds, the star... to only one month? If preachers would address one element of the birth story each week, we would be teaching the story of the birth of Christ three months out of the year. Could it be that we are somewhat neglecting the birth of the Messiah?
